Question: What are the three most important decisions in a person’s life? Why are they important?

Answer: I would focus on one: the environment.

We can’t choose our genetic makeup, our family upbringing, and most of our education is already finished before we start “choosing”.

Everything else stems from the environment of which we are product of. We receive our values, goals, purposes from the environment which will influence the spouse, partner for life, the employment, culture, spare time activities we engage with.

The environment will decide if we continue remaining on the present, animate, instinctive, “day to day” survival level, or we rise to a higher, truly Human level of existence. And only regarding the environment, society do we have free choice but constantly contributing to it, enlivening it.
