Question: What is the importance of teacher in our life?
Answer: An authentic, prepared teacher is very important. Regardless of what we study the teacher represents the “higher level” we want to obtain. The teacher is like a coach that can point us towards the right direction, can give us the tools and exercises necessary to reach that “higher level”, greater knowledge, wisdom.
But it is equally important how, in what way we connect to the teacher. Recent studies show that instead of the usual, individualistic and competitive way of learning, cooperative study, learning together in small, mutually supportive, mutually complementing study groups improves our connection to the teacher, enhancing our ability to use the advice and direction the teacher provides.
