Question: How would your life change if money suddenly wasn’t an issue?
Answer: I am not certain that it is money that is the problem. Perhaps the problem is how and what we use money for.
Originally money was “invented” to simply facilitate trade in between people. So instead of changing a chicken for shoe at the market for example, people started to use an intermediary tool, thus instead of direct product exchange trade could become easier, more fluent.
The problem is that since “money has become the king”. Today we worship money and material wealth, material possessions above anything else. We measure even the value of people through their monetary worth, and we absolutely do not care where the money is from as long as they have a healthy bank account with many zeros at the end.
The biggest loser of this development is our “Humanity”. We have forgotten that we are deep down emotional creatures who crave for and survive on love, friendship, brotherhood and mutual happiness. We forgot that material possessions, money should cover our true, natural necessities only, and above that we should focus on how we build positive, mutually supportive and mutually fulfilling relationships with each other.
This is why we live in the most depressed, unhappy, empty generation, that is sitting on top of the greatest material wealth ever amassed, considering committing collective suicide, losing the will to go on.
