Question: Why are we never satisfied in this life?
Answer: Because our matter, the engine that drives us is an insatiable, irrepressible desire for exponentially increasing pleasures. Whatever we are satisfied with today is not enough tomorrow.
Moreover evolution programmed us in a way that in our generation the instinctive chase and fulfilment of the original animate (food, sex, family) and social (wealth, power/fame, knowledge) desires is not enough any longer.
We are destined for a very unique, “crown of evolution” role in Nature’s fully integrated, intelligent system. And this role requires us to acquire a complete, objective “insider knowledge” of the whole system and its predetermined evolutionary plan.
This is why – seemingly “out of the blue” – masses of people feel emptiness, dissatisfaction with life even if all the usual natural, social necessities are catered for. These people can’t suppress, ignore the insolent questions about “meaning of life”, “Human purpose in existence” any longer.
Following, researching these questions leads us to revealing and fulfilling our evolutionary role. Only this – becoming partners, facilitators of the whole system of reality – can provide us with complete satisfaction, fulfilling an infinite desire, need with infinite fulfilment.
