Question: If you could do one thing without suffering the consequences, what would you do?
Answer: I would love to disconnect from my egoistic nature – which is the only thing I have – so I could soar above all the egoistic and subjective limitations of time, space, physical motion. Then I could connect to others, sense them as they are, serve them, love them unconditionally, see the world through their eyes, entering them transparently without any criticism, negative judgement, selfish calculations. I could actually live through others infinitely and eternally regardless of physical life or death…
On the other hand without “suffering the consequences of this”, sensing how the ego protests, pulls back, feeling the pain of the ego for acting altruistically we could not verify, validate whether we truly managed to act “outside of”, against the ego, we would not know if we are just dreaming, imagining all this or it is a real state. So I would still like to do all the above, but I also want to “suffer the consequences” to provide the contrast, realistic measurements.
