Question: What has made you happiest in life?
Answer: The initial question asked about the ten things that can make one happy in life, and I was going to recommend one overall principle. So the modified question fits my answer better.
In order to know what makes us happy first we need to know what truly happiness is.
Individual happiness is a shallow, temporary feeling, when our selfish, egoistic, instinctive desires are fulfilled. The more we try chasing personal happiness the more empty and unhappy we become, as our own limited, subjective “receptive vessels” are unable to contain the fulfillment and contentment our insatiable desire for pleasures really wants.
In order to come to the sense of infinite, eternal fulfillment, happiness we have to access unlimited vessels that can receive fulfillment without any limits. And such vessels are created only by unique, selfless, unconditionally serving, unconditionally loving, mutual Human interconnections.
So in order to become truly happy we have to create closed, purposeful, committed Human environments, networks, where everybody aimes at, works for the perfect fulfillment, happiness of others. Then perfect, infinite and eternal happiness will flow within that mutual Human network.
