Question: Does maintaining a childlike personality make a person happier with their lives overall? As in smiling a lot, being intellectually curious, living in the moment, being creative and looking on the bright side. I’m not talking about being childish.
Answer: Yes. Maintaining a “childlike attitude” – constantly being curious, ready to learn, ready to laugh at ourselves, ready to give up previous opinion in order to accept new ones, playfully experiencing, play acting new things together – is the condition for relentless, endless progress, growth.
