Question: Why do people want to be other people and are not happy with themselves?
Answer: We can’t help it, we are “programmed” in such a way. Our inherently self-serving, self-justifying nature constantly measures itself to others in order to prove that it is better, higher, greater, richer, etc than others.
Our political, marketing systems, propaganda blatantly exploit this Human trait, playing with our instinctive envy, jealousy, desire for respect and shame.
But in the right environment, through the right, purposeful conditions we can use the same instinctive traits to pull, push each other towards worthy, truly Human goals achievements.
Thus by trying to become “like others” we can become the very best version of ourselves.
