Question: Do you believe opportunity will come knocking if one is optimistic?
Answer: Yes, but I also believe that optimism in itself is not enough. There is a Hungarian saying, “help yourself, then God will also help you”. We have to make our own luck, or in other words we have to meet the opportunities half way.
Of course for that we would need some knowledge about the general developmental path we are supposed to progress on. We need some knowledge about our unique individual, and Humanity’s collective purpose in Nature’s perfect, intelligent evolutionary plan.
Then by entering a special, purposeful environment where everybody is committed to studying this plan in order to fulfill our Human purpose in it, we can constantly move towards that goal. As a result we will start to feel that our fortune is turning, that “helpful winds start to drag our sails instead of uncontrollable storms constantly sinking us”.
