Question: Is having an open heart a choice or are people born this way?
Answer: “Having an open heart” is a choice, and actually opening our heart is the result of a difficult, purposeful, methodical process in a special environment.
We are all born with an inherently selfish, egocentric, self-protective, distrusting nature. By default we all live within our introverted, subjective fortresses.
In order to start trusting others, in order to gain the ability to open our heart and build such connections that we freely enter each others heart with pure, altruistic intentions, we need a step by step process that peels away or instinctively hateful, egoistic crusts.
Only in this way it is possible to melt our mutually frozen hearts in order to facilitate true connections.
