David’s Harp

The Magical Harp

According to Jewish oral tradition:

“…In the middle of the night, as the wind changed direction, it would blow across the strings, and the harp would begin to be played by the wind. David would awaken with inspiration to these mystical sounds, pick up his harp, and sing his deepest feelings to G-d…”

Although the story sounds mystical we all have the actual ability to create the same situation of “not so mystical” strings being played by the wind and then “unite heaven with earth” with our own music playing like David did.

All we have to do is finding the right musical instrument with those strings and then locate the wind that could play the “heavenly music” for us.

Chaotic, Dissonant Music

By default we think we live in a reality with immeasurable number of different elements, factors, each with their own independent actions, influences. Especially in relation to humanity we are convinced that each and every person have their own unique minds, containing their own individual desires, thoughts designing their own individualistic actions.

We sense ourselves living in a chaotic world, where the myriad of random, disconnected pathways, influences barely – in a best case scenario – complement each other, sustaining a very fragile balance.

Most of the time this fragile balance requires a lot of compromises from everyone, which compromises we make grudgingly, since we understand that without such compromises – which we consider individual sacrifices – we wouldn’t be able to build societies, achieve peace, continuity.

Still at the moment we see a chance of exploiting any situation for ourselves we do so, disrupting that balance regardless of the dire consequences.

Thus Human history is a recurring chain of vicious cycles, starting with hopes, renewed compromises, but still ending in crisis situations and violent explosions, as our inherently individualistic, egoistic nature constantly disrupts the fragile compromises, balance achieved.

Our Human world projects a constant dissonance, a dark, disturbing noise, like an orchestra where the musicians play their own, our of tune egoistic music ,with deaf ears without a conductor.

The Seemingly Incurable Cancer

Although we are all individual cells of the same integrated and interdependent body we all act as selfish cancer cells that are forced to destructively consume the body for self-preservation.

We know no better in the lack of sensing “mutual guarantee”, mutual trust, without sensing the overall circulation, mind, systemic communication and control of the whole body.

Today in the constantly deepening and seemingly unsolvable global crisis we started to recognize that without a major paradigm shift we will not survive the next, inevitable, civilization ending explosion.

Still we seem to be completely, desperately helpless as for any change we would need to fundamentally change our own inherent nature.

The Scientific Instruction Guide

Fortunately there exists a very unique and purposeful, educational method that was developed through human history, specifically for our historic crossroads.

Original, empirical scientists – who through their own unique qualities and favourable environmental conditions managed to fully attain the fundamental laws and principles of our metal reality – described their own empirical observations and gradually created and refined a method for our hapless generation.

The hallmark of their method is searching for and identifying the single, unique and all-encompassing source, the conductor behind everything that unfolds in reality. And we can also learn to read the “score”, the evolutionary plan behind development, with our own survival role in it.

Shifting And Defocusing The Viewpoint

There is nothing else we need to do but to change how we perceive reality. We need to change our observer viewpoint and the intention we observe the world with.

First of all we need to exit our inherently egocentric and subjective viewpoint by trying to observe reality through the eyes of others. Then instead of attributing any individual volition, initiation to those others we need to focus “beyond them”, trying to identify a single source for all their actions.

We have to try to look at the world with all of its actions unfolding around us as a unique 3D holographic movie which we can freeze. Then we can carefully, gently shift our viewpoint until through those others we can “triangulate” the single source responsible for all the cause and effect processes.

Obviously it is extremely difficult, almost impossible to play this game, experiment with the whole of humanity all at once. This is why those original, empirical scientists recommended to set up special groups of people, where the adjustment, correction of our perception of reality becomes manageable.

Hearing Heavenly Music

Thus through the unique scientific method, in small, selected groups – among fully, mutually dedicated others aiming for the same goal – we can work for and achieve such self-annulment that we become capable of sensing the world through the desires and thoughts of others.

When we share with their sorrow and receive fulfilment with their joy, we start perceiving the reality around us in an objective manner. Instead of the very limited “cancerous single cell viewpoint” we gain an altruistic “multi-cellular” perception.

And then carefully positioning ourselves in the central point of this multi-cellular viewpoint we can start sensing, decoding the all-encompassing, singular circulation, infinite communicating stream of the interconnected multi-cellular organism.

And this perfectly harmonious “music”, the myriads of seemingly incompatible, contradictory elements perfectly complementing one another reveals the single source, the conductor guiding the process from the “master score”.

Playing Heavenly Music

Our original cancerous, single-cell point of view with its disharmony, noise doesn’t disappear. The more we reveal the harmony through self-annulment and perfect positioning the more the initial, contrasting cacophony becomes stronger and louder.

The strings of the magical mystical instrument need two anchors. Only through contrasts and comparative research can we attain and verify reality.

Our own aspiring musician, the “David” in us also needs both heaven and earth in order to start playing its own music. Thus by learning from nature’s perfection we can finally play our own perfect music using both ends of the contrasting perception, learning how to balance them, how to keep the strings tight and fine tuned in the mutual circle.
