Question: Is life just one big competition?
Answer: Yes it is. But in order to succeed we need to refine who we compete against and what we compete for.
By default – driven by our inherently egoistic, hateful and greedy nature – we compete against one another, succeeding at the expense of others. By this – especially today in the global, integral world – we act like cancer, inevitably marching towards self-destruction.
Instead we would need to compete against our own inherent nature, fight against our instinctive reactions, inclinations, by teaming up with others in purposeful, mutually supportive, mutually complementing groups. Then instead of self-destruction we can push, pull one another to a qualitatively higher, effortless Human existence.
