Judgmental Nature

Question: Why is it that everybody just always second guesses you all the time? Why is it that everybody assumes that you can never change or at least one ever tries? Why does everybody think that someone’s past is always their destiny?

Answer: First of all we all view life in a completely egocentric, subjective, self-serving and self-justifying way. This is not a ‘sin”, it is not “evil”. This is how we are born, this is how our inherently programmed software works. Thus in any given circumstances we elevate, justify ourselves over others. This is why we criticize, second guess, diminish others.

My happiness comes from the failure, misery of the others as my state is always compared to the state of others. And as it is very difficult to use the inherent envy, jealousy positively we try to pull others back, wish for them not to succeed. This negative, hateful behaviour – which was less obvious, more hidden before – is on open display today all over social media, entertainment, politics, public discourse.

This is actually good as we need the full revelation of the “evil” – as we said it is not really evil since we had no free choice about our nature so far – in order to feel unpleasant about it and want to change it.

And here comes the last part of your question. So far our “past has been our destiny”, as we have been blindly following our inherent nature, simply executing the program of our hateful ego. If we want to carve out a “ new destiny, fate” for ourselves then we have to change the program, or more precisely we have to upgrade it with the help of Nature’s evolutionary force which has in its plan this upgrade but waits for us to initiate its execution.

This is where our evolution becomes conscious, directed by ourselves, when even qualities like envy, hate will be used for a positive goal, positive progress.
