Question: You are given the option to either eliminate all poverty or become a billionaire instantly and for life. Which do you choose?
Answer: I think based on how our world turned out, even egoistically we can conclude that being a billionaire in a world that is still full of poverty, suffering is not good.
As long as the present vast differences remain, worsening social unrest, riots, wars, migrant crisis will continue, intensify.
If we want a happy, safe, sustainable life in a fully integrated and interdependent world, we have to build a society where everybody can contribute to the whole with 100% of their best ability, receiving their just remuneration that is enough to safeguard comfortable, healthy, modern life for everybody.
This can only work in a system called “mutual guarantee” which we all have to learn and practically implement through the right, purposeful, practical education.
