Love Your Neighbor…

Question: What phrase have you heard that changed your life?

Answer: It is a phrase we all heard probably many times. But it has profoundly changed my life when I started to understand what it actually means.

The phrase is: “love your friend/neighbor as yourself”.

It is not some mystical, religious slogan, nice “New Age” philosophy, but it is the symbolic, poetic description of Nature’s most fundamental law, safeguarding the balance and homeostasis, without which life, optimal development could not exist.

If the cells, organs of our biological body for example would not “agree” to selflessly, unconditionally serve the whole collective, the body above self-interest, the body would not survive, cancer would develop and kill everything.

The next phase of Human evolution demands from us to accept this law on us in practice, overcome our inherently cancerous, egoistic nature, and build a global, Human society. There we all become individual cells, organs, mutually, selflessly, unconditionally serving, supporting, complementing each, other so the single body, the single Human “super-organism” can survive and prosper.
