Question: What’s the most complicated aspect of being an adult?
Answer: I think it must be the full responsibility for one’s own actions. And it gets even more “serious” when one establishes a family, has children as then the circle of responsibility extends beyond the singular self.
Today the whole of Humanity is at the point of becoming “consenting adults”. So far we have been developing like spoilt, irresponsible, petulant children, thinking we are in a cosmic toy store without supervisors, without checkout counters, where we can take, change, destroys anything we want without consequences.
We keep on building civilization after civilization based on our own “infantile” philosophies, ideologies, thinking we are above Nature’s vast system, that Nature’s fundamental laws or the plan of evolution does not apply to us.
We are the first generation where Nature and its relentless evolutionary plan firmly lets us know that our childhood is over, and from now on we have to take responsibility for our actions and bear all the dire consequences if we do not keep the laws our vast, cosmic, natural system works by.
Thus before we reach certain self-destruction through recurring and intensifying crisis situations affecting every level of Human activity, we need a brand new, unique and purposeful “integral education/upbringing”, helping us to adapt ourselves to Nature’s system and its plan of development, learning and fulfilling our special individual and collective role in it as “crown of creation”.
