Question: What’s something everyone should know before trying hallucinogens?
Answer: We need to know that hallucinogens won’t solve our problems. They will not offer sustainable results and thus they lead to addiction as the fake, illusory relief from pain, problems, depression is not real. Hallucinogens are like putting a sticky plaster on a cancerous blister
Disconnecting ourselves from sensing reality is not the solution. The solution is changing ourselves, changing the way we perceive the world. Our perception of reality is absolutely subjective.
The problems we sense are not “on the outside”, but they are inside us. And there is a guaranteed way of changing our inner qualities, how we relate to others and the world differently, which method will bring us to true happiness, objective perception.
Thus the real solution is the opposite of what hallucinogens cause – disconnecting us from tangible, realistic perception. The real remedy, practical method can bring us to the truest, most objective, tangible, realistic perception – by changing ourselves without drugs -, showing us that the world around us is truly perfect – not only imagined in a drug fuelled dreamscape.
