Question: Do you see the good in every person? Or do you tend to focus on the bad? In either case, why?
Answer: By default – through my inherently selfish, egocentric and “hateful” nature – I see only bad in others. When I see others in a bad light, inferior to me, I can elevate myself above them feeling myself better.
At the same time I am purposefully working towards changing my inherent perception in order to gain a selfless, altruistic point of view, that would allow me to see others as perfect, unblemished, thinking, acting exactly how they are supposed to think and act.
Then in between the two point of views I will be able to discern, examine the truth. Then I will become a “truly Human”, objective observer, capable of seeing, accepting others and the world “as it is”.
