Nothing But The Observer…

Question: When I die, will I become nothing?

Answer: We could turn the question around: what are we today, are we anything?

Even if we examine “ourselves” based on what we know from science, our “solid” physical body has hardly any solid, tangible material in it. The whole Universe is mostly “empty space”, or “matter” we have no idea about. Moreover quantum physics hints at a reality that has no solid substance at all but it is comprised of waves, forces only. There are famous scientists who suggest the whole Universe is a “thought”, a computer program, etc…

So what are we then?

We are observers who not only observe but actually project the world around us according to our own qualities, state of being. At our default, instinctive, egocentric, self-serving and subjective state we project this corporeal, ‘solid”, “Newtonian” reality around us, where the subjective notions of time, space and motion apply and we seemingly are born into a biological body which passes away after a while.

But as wise, empirical scientists who revealed and described reality “as it is” thousands of years ago note, we have the capability to change the qualities of the observer and then the “movie” we project, the world we sense changes too. And then we can exist in a consciousness, perception of reality where time, space, motion does not apply, where physical life or death does not exist.
