Question: What single characteristic is most important when searching for the love of your life?
Answer: I think in order for people to connect they need at least a certain level of similarity in between them, they both need to accept, like one another externally, they need to have similar interests, values, goals in life, so there is an initial bond they can build on.
But above this initial, “basic” similarity the most important characteristic that “love of life” is built on, is the lovers’ willingness, commitment to fully annul themselves towards one another. They need to make 100% effort in “entering” each other, sensing the desires, thoughts and necessities of one another, so they can selflessly, unconditionally fulfill those necessities without selfish, egoistic distortions, calculations.
Then they will feel the “love of life”, which is an almost “supernatural” bond evolving in between them, a capability to give, accept, embrace and support the other in a timeless, spaceless manner, that did not exist in either of them before.
As wise people wrote they merit the expression, “husband and wife and the Divinity in between them”
