Honest Self-Recognition

Question: What are the good and bad things you know about yourself?

Answer: In truth, by default I only knew “good things” about myself, more precisely my inherent self-justifying nature managed to justify my actions, qualities at any given circumstances.

But since I entered a unique, closed and purposeful environment which acts as a brutally honest mirror, showing us who we really are, how we really relate to others, I only see bad things about myself.

This is a shocking “revelation of evil”, on the other hand – like going to the doctor to find out we have a serious illness – now with the honest, clear diagnosis I can start the “treatment” so at the end I could see truly good things about myself in the same honestly brutal mirror.
