Question: What seemingly small thing has someone said to you that changed your life?
Answer: “Your life is not your own”.
I can’t say it any more beautifully as it was said in the movie, “Cloud Atlas”:
“Our lives are not our own. We are bound to others, past and present, and by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.”
In the globally integrated and fully interdependent system we have evolved into – in truth we have always existed in such a system but we weren’t aware of it – with every move of a finger, with every thought we influence the whole system. We have a tremendous mutual responsibility for each other.
Thus we have learn through the right, purposeful, and practical integral education how not to cause harm but to safeguard the well-being of the whole system.
