Question: What happens (if anything) to a person who does not question things and just “goes with the flow”?
Answer: A person who does not question anything and just goes with the flow has not awakened yet to the last, conscious phase of Human development, at the end of which we become “truly Human”.
We could say such a person – simply flowing from involuntary birth to involuntary death by instinctively chasing and fulfilling randomly appearing desires in a day to day survival – is a “humanoid”, or one in between the animate and Human levels of evolution.
Most of us are like that. After all the last, conscious phase of Human development starts only when the question about “meaning of life” becomes so strong, that we can’t ignore, suppress it any longer but we have to search for an answer until we find it.
Only such a search can elevate us above our blind, instinctive, egocentric and subjective existence, and put us on a path at the end of which we become Human – Adam – consciously, proactively “similar” to the Natural force that gave us birth.
