Question: Which generation stopped teaching compassion, decency, and manners to their children?
Answer: In terms of education it started with the industrial revolution, when education became a “factory” for churning out workers to produce goods. In modern education, media brainwashing we are adding to it “creating” good consumers who also buy those goods.
As our selfish egoism intensified through the generations, and we became self-obsessed, narcissistic individuals, even in our families – which families are now also breaking apart – we forgot what true, Humane upbringing is all about.
If we want to bring compassion, decency, manners back “into fashion”, we need a brand new, purposeful, integral upbringing and education, that is capable of creating, guiding “truly Human” beings above, despite our maximally developed ego and vast diversity.
