Question: As a whole are we valued?
Answer: For the answer first we have to understand the world we live in.
Contrary to our proud, individualistic belief we don’t exist in isolation, with a “complete free choice in what we do, how we live”. Instead we exist in a fully integrated, interdependent system where we are all individual cells, cogwheels of a single whole.
This we are measured, valued according to the mutually responsible, mutually complementing contribution towards the collective.
Thus we are valued according to how much we ourselves value the wellbeing, optimal state and development of the whole system.
