Question: What is the hardest lesson that you’ve had to learn?
Answer: The hardest lesson I had to learn was that contrary to my inherently proud, individualistic belief, contrary to what my self-justifying, self-promoting ego whispered into my ears, I cannot be successful in anything I am doing unless I do it through proper teamwork, through mutually responsible, mutually complementing cooperation with others.
Logically it is easy to understand that in a globally interconnected, integrated and interdependent world Humanity should resemble more like ant colonies for example rather than a collection of ruthlessly, exclusively fighting lone heroes, but it is much more difficult to put into practice against our instinctive egoistic tendencies.
This is why we need a unique, purposeful and practical education to learn this hard lesson through positive motivation.
