Learning To Listen In The Circle

Question: What if everyone actively listened to each other, instead of disrespecting someone simply because they disagree with them. Why do most feel the need to be derogatory over someones view because it is different than theirs?

Answer: You are describing the ideal, desired situation where people listen to each other and debate to solve problems, not in order to humiliate each other by proving who is more clever, better, higher.

The problem is that it is our inherently egocentric, self-justifying, exclusively competitive nature that drives to this destructive debating style, preventing us to listen to the opinions of others.

This is why in order to change how we relate to each other, in order to sit down around the table, run workshops in order to efficiently and successfully solve our mounting problems, we need a unique, purposeful and practical educational method first of all.
