Driven By Self-Interest

Question: Is human interaction always driven by self-interest?

Answer: Instinctively yes. We are all born with a completely self-serving, self-justifying, self-protecting and subjective nature. We cannot make any other calculations but for our own sake, regardless of the circumstances.

This inherent nature – which by the way is neither evil or sinful since we are born like this without free choice – drives us towards constant, ruthless and exclusive competition, success at the expense of others. It is this inherent nature that causes our vicious, recurring historic cycles, gradually driving us towards seemingly inevitable self-destruction.

With the right, purposeful and practical educational method we can use, motivate this instinctive self-interest in a way, that it starts supporting unity, mutually responsible and mutually complementing cooperation.

The original “cancer-like” single cell organisms “understood” through evolution, that it is more effective, advantageous to give up “self-interest” and assemble to form multi-cellular organisms for the sake of survival, for the sake of gaining a qualitatively higher level of existence.

Similarly Human being are also capable of understanding that in order to survive and to gain a qualitatively higher, collective intelligence, it is worthwhile to assemble into a unique, unprecedented, single Human “Super-Organism”.
