Question: Why is it bad to be selfish?
Answer: It is not “bad”, we can’t be in any other way as we are born with an inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egoistic and subjective nature. Thus we had no free choice about the ego we were born with.
On the other hand if we remain in our instinctive form – in a globally integrated, interdependent world – we are becoming like cancer, consuming, destroying everything including ourselves.
Thus we need to learn – through a unique, purposeful and practical education – how to use, control our inherent nature in a positive, constructive way for the benefit of the whole, integrated collective, above personal benefit
