Question: There is a saying..All is fair in love and war. What does this mean?
Answer: We could consider this the “romantic slogan” our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egotistic and subjective nature could put on its flag.
In short, when I really need, wavy something I can use any tools, weapons I want in order to grab what I want at any cost, regardless of consequences, “collateral damage”.
This is how we instinctively live our lives, behaving like cancer in an otherwise fully integrated, interdependent, Natural system.
Only in our generation did we start to recognize that this “romantic notion” is self-destructive, leading us towards a mutually assured, global meltdown!
So maybe at the dangerous crossroads Humanity is standing today, it’s time we revised this “romantic idea” and examine other classical notions like “all for one, one for all” for example…
