Question: What has made you consider what it truly means to be alive?
Answer: Death.
Seeing, experiencing death, losing people either in the family or through my medical work. Such a “frequent” encounter with death makes one contemplate about what it means to live or not to live.
Many times one looks at a body which was alive a few minutes ago and without any significant, obvious changes the same body is dead a few minutes later. Then of course one start thinking beyond the body, whether Human life is restricted to the life of this ‘animate”, biological body, or perhaps Human life has a higher, greater meaning?
This is how I started to think then started to search for the overall meaning of Human life until I have found a unique, purposeful method which gives us the tools to take this contemplation beyond philosophical musings to implement it in practice.
