Building Mutual Guarantee

Question: What is one thing I can do that I probably don’t do already, every day, that will make me feel like a better person?

Answer: Well, I do not know you, I have no idea what you do or do not do already. Still I think it is safe to assume that you are not caring for, serving others – outside of your close circle – in a mutually selfless, altruistic, unconditional manner.

And please do not take this personally, none of us are capable of acting so by default. We are all born with a healthy, egoistic, self-serving, self-justifying nature. We all view reality in a 100% subjective way, only seeing what is important for ourselves. This is neither “sin” nor “evil” we are born this way.

But in order to become “better persons”, to become more successful in life, in order to secure our collective survival in a globally integrated and fully interdependent world, we have no other choice but to learn how to build “mutual guarantee” in between us
