Answer: I do not remember a specific, precise example right now, but laziness usually stops us taking part in something, going for something new, acting instead of staying put.

Our overwhelming desire for rest, to stay where we are within our comfort zone is an important background, contrast against which we can measure the importance of changes, actions.
Something has to become very important, attractive to pull us away from our “lazy rest, comfort zone”. And this inner calculations, measuring whether it is worthwhile to leave the comfort zone or it is wiser to stay put gives us the opportunity for conscious scrutiny each time a new desire, new temptation appears.
