Question: Assume magic is real…Does that make things better or worse?
Answer: I don’t think that magic – blind, unfounded belief in something “supernatural” – would be any better than religions for example. And we can see how much religions have made our lives “better” in the last over 2000 years…
After all we exist in a perfect Natural system that is based on “unbending, iron” laws, driven by an intelligent evolutionary plan that works on precise cause and effect processes.
The only thing that could make things better for us is studying the appropriate, practical, scientific educational method that can teach us those natural laws, the precise evolutionary cause and effect processes, so we wouldn’t need to believe in miracles or magic any more.
Instead we would know exactly where we are, what our developmental steps are, and what exact, unique role we need to fulfill in this system.
