Question: I am satisfied in everything except relationships. How could that be?
Answer: Building the right connections, relationship to others is the most difficult thing in the world.
We are all born with an inherently self-centered, self-justifying, egoistic and subjective nature. With the help of this nature – if we are strong, skillful enough – we can fulfill ourselves with every kind of pleasure we want.
But in order to build true, positive, sustainable relationships with others, we would need to rise above this instinctive self-service, self-justification. We would need to consider the opinions, desires, viewpoints of the other more important than our own.
And this is very difficult, almost impossible to do. Only a unique, purposeful and practical educational method in the right environment can teach us how to build true, mutually supportive and mutually fulfilling relationships with each other above and against our inherent nature.
