Question: Why defer to others who tell us they know better than us what is the right thing to do?
Answer: The problem is that we are all born with an inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egoistic and subjective nature. Thus none of us can find the right solutions on our own, as our egocentric, introverted calculations will always lead us astray.
Thus the only way of finding a true solution, successful progress is to acquire a selfless, transparent, objective viewpoint. In other words we have to escape our automatic, instinctive calculations, reactions.
Where can we escape out of ourselves?! Only into others!
This is why we need a special, small, closed, purposefully built and conducted mutually supportive, mutually complementing environment, where 5–10 born individualistic egoists can connect with the intention of self-annulment towards one another.
Through such an effort they can build an unprecedented “middle ground” at the overlapping area of the self-annulment, which will become like a “clean window” through which they gain a selfless, objective view into reality.
In practice this is achieved in special “round table discussions”, workshops, where they discuss problems, topics they want to solve, develop, building a common, mutual opinion that did not exist in either of them beforehand.
