I think this is the logical outcome, and since we are overall an intelligent species, with a unique mind capable of critical self-assessment, initiating self-change when necessary, there is a very good chance that the final outcome of the virus outbreak will be positive, revolutionary!
I think there is already an overwhelming awakening “from below”, from the grassroots, from people who are not closed into the ivory towers of leadership, political “house if cards”, but it still rooted in a relatively normal, Human environment.
These people will probably not choose to plug themselves back into the artificial, inhuman, consumerist “Matrix” with its brainless, cheap “circus and bread entertainment” even if the Matrix returns to its full potential (which is not guaranteed at this stage).
Many will choose to rebuild Humanity on different, truly Human foundations, where Human connection, mutually responsible and mutually complementing interconnections, cooperation will be the measure of “wealth”, “efficiency”, “growth”, based on the full understanding that in closed, living, fully integrated Natural system (Humanity is one of them) only such connections, cooperation can offer problem solving ability and collective survival.
Then we might even look back at this virus outbreak as something beneficial, that finally catapulted Humanity out of the slavery to the inherent ego, allowing us to rise to a qualitatively much higher, collective, truly Human existence!
