Question: What are some simple ways to connect with your fellow humans?
Answer: Although making connections seems simple – especially with the advent of social media where many of us have thousands of “friends” – making true, positive, sustainable connections is actually very difficult.
It is easy to “meet” when it fits us, when the connection serves our selfish, egoistic interest, especially when we can show how perfect and beautiful we are.
But building “true connections” – for the sake of the other, without any selfish reward, recognition – is totally against our inherently self-serving, self-justifying, egocentric and subjective nature.
Thus in order to build such true connections, to learn what true, selfless, altruistic love and friendship is – where the ego is not present – we need a unique, purposeful and practical educational method that can teach us how to approach one another above, outside of the ego’s influence.
